Parque Bicentenario

The 18 de Marzo refinery worked this ground from the 1930s until 1991, when soil and air contamination closed it; the park opened in 2007 and is now the second largest green space in the city. Planting is organised as a tour of Mexican flora, with flowers, plants and trees from across the country and an orchid house. There is also a skate park and a sand play area plumbed with water. Metro Refinería is the nearest station.
