Westminster Reference Library

A free public reference library a few minutes from Leicester Square, with no membership and no sign-in: the desks are for quiet study and the art and performing-arts collections stay on site. Opening runs to 8pm on weekdays and to 5pm on Saturday, which makes it one of the later central options for a walk-in room. The building is recorded as not wheelchair accessible, so anyone who needs step-free access should check with staff before travelling. Air conditioning throughout, which matters in a room this enclosed in summer.
