Palace of Fine Arts

Built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in staff and plaster and kept when the rest of the fair came down, then rebuilt in poured concrete in the 1960s because the original was never meant to outlast the year. Scottie and Judy walk the colonnade beside the lagoon in the second half of the film, when he has begun remaking her. It is the only structure left from the exposition and the grounds are open without a ticket.
