Buena Vista Park

The oldest of the city's hill parks is heavily wooded, so it trades the full panorama for shade, and the paths give city views in gaps between the trees rather than from one open summit. The gutters lining the walking paths were built from broken cemetery headstones, and names and dates are still legible in places. It sits about a mile northeast of Twin Peaks, close enough to link the two on foot.
