Palacký Bridge

Opened in 1878 to designs by Bedřich Münzberger with engineering by Josef Reiter, and built of granite blocks in blue, red and white. It runs 228.8m across the Vltava, the third stone bridge in the city and the first built to serve the industrialising Smíchov district. Its sculptural groups were damaged in 1945 and later moved to the grounds at Vyšehrad, where they stand today.
