Čech Bridge

Built between 1905 and 1908 and named after the writer Svatopluk Čech, it is the shortest of the central bridges at 169m and the only arch bridge in Prague made entirely of iron. Four bronze winged genii stand on columns at the ends, with hydra figures guarding the Prague coat of arms. It is the only large Art Nouveau bridge structure in the country and is protected as a technical monument.
