Libeň Bridge

Built 1924-1928 to designs by Pavel Janák, concrete, five arches, and one of the few bridges anywhere raised in the Cubist idiom. Counting its access ramps it runs 780m, the longest crossing in Prague, replacing a wooden bridge that had joined Holešovice and Libeň since 1903. Its name changed six times: T. G. Masaryk until 1939, then Baxa, Libeň, Baxa again, Stalingrad from 1952, and Libeň once more from 1962.
