Poças

Family-owned since 1918 and known for its Tawnies, with a visitor centre made out of the restored company headquarters in the old centre of Gaia. The route takes in a cooperage workshop as well as the cellar, which is rarer here than the barrels themselves. Tastings are themed: an introduction to the main Port styles, a Port and chocolate truffle pairing, and one built on older colheitas.
