Supremo Tribunal Federal

Brazil's highest court, designed in 1958 for the southern side of the Praça dos Três Poderes, where it faces the Palácio do Planalto across the plaza and completes the triangle of the three branches. The same splayed concrete supports that carry the presidential palace opposite carry this one, which is how the square was meant to read as a single composition.
