Superior Tribunal de Justiça

Completed in 1995, the court that sits below the Supreme Federal Tribunal in Brazil's judicial hierarchy and one of the buildings Niemeyer designed after returning from exile. The complex is set back on the Setor de Administração Federal rather than on the ceremonial plaza, and the colonnade is drawn thinner and taller than the 1958 versions across the axis.
