Peveril of the Peak
A building of about 1820 marooned on its own island between two roads, sheathed in the green and yellow glazed tiles that make it the most photographed pub frontage in the city. The listing cites the glazed screens, wood panelling, surviving tilework and a very small drinking lobby inside; the stained glass is original to the scheme. Grade II since 1988, and the only pub on this list tagged as fully step-free.
