Miradouro do Recolhimento

Roughly ten minutes uphill from Santa Luzia, inside the castle walls, this asphalt square looks out over the same Alfama roofs and stretch of Tagus with a fraction of the traffic. Benches and a children's playground make it more of a neighbourhood square than a photo stop. There is no lighting here, so it is a daylight and dusk proposition rather than an after-dark one.
