Miradouro de Santa Luzia

The terrace sits beside the Church of Santa Luzia, enclosed by a wall of azulejo panels and shaded by a vine-covered pergola that crops the view from parts of the platform. Alfama's roofs step down toward the Tagus from here, with the tower of Santo Estêvão breaking the line and cruise ships occasionally filling the water behind it. Tram 28 stops at a halt carrying the viewpoint's own name, which is one reason it draws heavier crowds than its neighbour; the Decorative Arts Museum is next door and the castle a short climb above.
