Portugália
The Almirante Reis beer hall opened in 1925 and reopened after renovation in 2024, and remains the headquarters of a name that has since franchised across the city. The draw is the bife à Portugália with the house sauce, the pregos and the beef croquete, alongside newer additions such as tiger prawn steak with an egg on top and polvo ao alhinho. The counter is the way to use it: a croquete in one hand, an imperial in the other.
