Cervejaria Ramiro
Opened in 1956 as a plain casual eating house at the Intendente end of Almirante Reis, and still built around percebes, oysters, carabineiros, santola and a prego do lombo to finish. The imperial is topped up as soon as the glass drops below about a fifth, which is the house's actual signature as much as the shellfish. No bookings and a near-permanent queue at the door, so arriving before the evening rush is the only real strategy.
