Cervejaria Ribadouro
One of the city's oldest shellfish houses, past 75 years of trade by 2022, on the corner where Avenida da Liberdade meets Rua do Salitre. The kitchen deliberately does not update: traditional plates that taste like the original, plus a terrace across from the door that keeps the waiters crossing the pavement in good weather. Puddings hold the line too, with molotoff and doce de ovos at €4.90 in 2023, and staff who have been serving the same room for decades.
