Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club

Eleven Opens have been played here, the last in 2012, and the 156th Championship is scheduled for 2028 after a sixteen-year absence. The clubhouse on Links Gate is a two-storey brick building in light beige under a gabled roof, and access is private outside championship weeks. The course is inland of the promenade, hemmed by railway and housing rather than open dune.
