Carnoustie Golf Links

Established around 1850 with hands from Allan Robertson, Old Tom Morris and James Braid, the Championship course stretches to 7,402 yards, the longest on the rota, and has hosted eight Opens, the most recent in 2018. Ownership of the courses passed from Angus Council to the Carnoustie Golf Heritage and Hospitality Group, ending public ownership that had held since the 19th century. The clubhouse is Links House on Links Parade, and the club is currently in its longest wait for a championship date.
