Juneway Beach

The northernmost beach in Chicago, at 7800 North against the Evanston border, and mapped as mixed sand and rock rather than clean sand. A stretch of riprap protecting three apartment buildings separates it from Rogers Beach to the south, so the two do not connect along the water. Davis McCarthy's sculpture "Quantum Dee" stands at the end of the line for anyone working the beaches north to south.
