Howard Beach

About 213 feet of shoreline, one short block south of Howard Street, making it one of the smallest segments the Park District lists. Erosion in 2019 and 2020 put it on the city's list of beaches to be deprecated, and the shore along this part of Eastlake Terrace has been armoured with rock. The Howard Red Line and Purple Line terminal is a few minutes' walk west.
