Los Galgos

A downtown fixture since the early 20th century that shut after 90 years and was reopened in 2015 by Julián Díaz and Florencia Capella, the pair behind 878. The old family safe, too heavy to shift, is still standing behind the counter. Coffee comes from the local roaster Puerto Blest, and the room fills twice: around 10am for a porteño breakfast, again at aperitivo.
