Yorckschlösschen

The same name has been over this door for more than a century: a middle-class corner pub through the 1960s, an artists' watering hole from the early 1970s, and a blues, boogie, jazz, swing and soul room since. Old wood panelling and music memorabilia, 120 seats inside and roughly as many on the summer terrace, with the stage close enough to hear the strings. Bands play four nights a week starting at 20:00, doors from 18:00 and until 01:00 on Friday and Saturday; reservations are recommended about a week ahead, and the bar is not step-free.
