Kunstfabrik Schlot

A Jazzkeller in the cellar of a nineteenth-century lightbulb factory near Nordbahnhof, where the regulars call it das Schlot. It started in 1993 as a small live stage at the western edge of Prenzlauer Berg and moved here, and the sprawling stage takes big bands and large ensembles, including the Composers Orchestra Berlin as a regular fixture. Stand-up and cabaret share the calendar with the jazz; tickets at the door, or online in advance for a discount. Space is limited, so a table is worth reserving.
