Typhoon Koppu (2015)
The storm struck the Philippine island of Luzon in mid-October. It made landfall over Casiguran, Aurora, at around 01:00 PHT on 18 October. Interaction with the mountainous terrain of Luzon weakened it rapidly, and its disheveled core emerged over the South China Sea on 19 October.
