Mass shootings in the United States that killed 13 or more people since 1949

Map of 18 locations in United States

A dated record of shootings in public places in the United States, from the 1960s to the 2020s, in which thirteen or more people were killed. Each entry gives the date, the place and the toll as contemporary reporting and archives stated them, with the range where accounts differ. These are historical events, set down from the record rather than from memory. The set follows the table of the deadliest mass shootings since 1949 in Wikipedia's article on mass shootings in the United States, read and transcribed by hand at 13 deaths or more, so it is a curator's reading of that record rather than a database query. It names no perpetrator and no victim.
