Kilometre zero of Line 1, under Quách Thị Trang Square, and one of only three stations on the line that are below ground. Cash fare from here is a flat 7,000 VND as far out as An Phu, rising to 20,000 VND for the full run to Suoi Tien Terminal. Four more lines are drawn through this station on paper: the L1 extension, L4 and L12, plus L2, which is under construction, so the concourse is built larger than today's single line needs.
