At 4.4 km from Ben Thanh, this is where the chain of nine pedestrian bridges serving the elevated stations begins, running from here out to National University. A transfer to the planned L5 is pencilled in. The Saigon River crossing comes immediately after, on the 0.9 km hop to Thao Dien.
