Van Thanh Park

The first elevated station heading out of the centre, 3.5 km from Ben Thanh and 1.2 km past Ba Son, reached after the line crosses the Nhieu Loc, Thi Nghe and Van Thanh canals and Nguyen Huu Canh Street. Fare from Ben Thanh is 7,000 VND in cash, the same as every stop as far as An Phu. It is the station Line 1's publicity photographs tend to use, with the viaduct running beside Dien Bien Phu Boulevard.
