Mandela National Stadium
Known locally as Namboole, this is the venue Uganda's Local Organising Committee puts at the head of its three main grounds, alongside Hoima and Lira. The rebuild takes it to 64,125 seats, the largest figure on the East African bid, and CAF's technical delegation went through it with the committee and government representatives rather than touring it from the stands. The organising committee reported afterwards that all three Ugandan stadiums were still on course for a December completion.
