Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Tanzania's national main ground, opened in 2007 and still signposted in Kiswahili as the uwanja wa taifa, carries 60,000 and anchors the Dar es Salaam end of the tournament. CAF's September inspection covered it along with other Tanzanian facilities, and the organisers are planning around Air Tanzania and the Dar to Zanzibar ferries to move teams and supporters between the coastal venues. Arusha's new stadium is being specified to match it.
