The stadiums in the running for AFCON 2027

Map of 7 locations in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania

Three countries put forward more grounds than the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will use, and the shortlist is still moving as CAF's technical delegation works through it. What separates these venues is not size but state: one is a 1987 All-Africa Games bowl closed to its own league clubs for rewiring, one has been commissioned and handed over, and several are being judged against a 31 December completion date. Capacities here are the figures the bid documents and inspection reports use, which in the renovation cases means the number the stadium does not hold yet.
