South Downs Way
The route runs from the cathedral city of Winchester in the west, the first capital of England, to the white chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head at Eastbourne in the east, with almost all of its length off-road. It was the first bridleway National Trail in England and may be walked, ridden on horseback or cycled. It is the only National Trail lying entirely within a National Park.
