Ferreira

A house founded in 1751 and shaped by Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, the Douro matriarch her countrymen called Ferreirinha. The cellars hold what is probably the most extensive collection of nineteenth and twentieth century vintages in Gaia, the oldest bottle dating to 1815. Two and a half centuries of Portuguese ownership on a street lined with English names.
