Tilikum Crossing

Opened in 2015 and operated by TriMet, this cable-stayed span carries the MAX Orange Line, buses and the Portland Streetcar, along with walking and cycling paths. Private cars are barred: the roadway is tagged as a busway with a single lane in each direction and a 25 mph limit, with embedded tram rails through the deck. LED lighting on the towers and cables shifts with the river's speed and temperature.
