Midnight Express Diner

At 2nd Avenue and East 89th Street since 1997, named for the idea of a train that does not stop, and it does not: the kitchen runs continuously. Bottled beer, wine and cocktails are served alongside the diner menu, and there are pavement tables for the hours when that makes sense. Delivery and takeaway both operate, and the room is step-free with toilets on site.
