Keats House

Keats lodged in this Regency villa in Hampstead for seventeen months between 1818 and 1820, before leaving for Italy, where he died. He drafted Ode to a Nightingale in the garden here and became engaged to Fanny Brawne, who lived in the other half of the semi-detached pair. The house is Grade I listed and run by the City of London Corporation, with the drawing room presented as a Regency interior.
