Edward Linley Sambourne, cartoonist for Punch, lived here with his wife and two children, and the interiors survive as one of the clearest surviving examples of the Aesthetic Movement's House Beautiful taste. William Morris wallpapers, framed photographs and drawings, ornamental furniture and decorative porcelain cover nearly every surface, and Sambourne's own studio is part of the route. A short walk from Leighton House, and ticketed.
