Mercado de Campo de Ourique

Built in 1934 and remodelled in 1991 without losing its original iron-and-brick structure, this is the neighbourhood hall that got the food-court treatment early: the tasting stalls were added in 2013 and now share the floor with the fishmongers and greengrocers who were always here. The kitchens run late, to midnight midweek and 1am Thursday to Saturday, while the produce side keeps market hours. Fried clams and bife à portuguesa sit alongside international counters under one roof.
