Mercado de Arroios

A 1940s hall by Luís Benavente that has followed its neighbourhood rather than the tourist map: alongside the fruit, vegetable and fish stalls there are counters for Asian spices and African ingredients, which is what Arroios now shops for. Trade finishes at two in the afternoon, six days a week, so this is a morning market in the strict sense.
