Norwood Park
Hours here are 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., not the 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. that most Chicago dog areas keep, so an early walk will find it shut. Inside the 0.13-acre run there is a doggie drinking fountain, covered benches and poop bags, and the Norwood Dog Park Association maintains it and runs occasional events. Dogs must be leashed entering and leaving, vaccinated and licensed, puppies under four months are not allowed, and each owner is limited to three dogs at a time.
