Montrose

The lakefront dog-friendly area at the north end of Montrose Beach, 3.83 acres, where dogs can swim in Lake Michigan rather than stand at a fountain. Access costs $5 a year, which is the part people arrive without. The water is the draw, so expect it busiest on hot weekends.
