Camps Bay Tidal Pool

Cut into the smooth granite at the southern end of Camps Bay Beach, below Victoria Road on the Bakoven side, with a strip of white sand along one edge and rockpools on the seaward rocks. It is one of the larger pools on the Atlantic seaboard, long enough for laps, and it runs a little warmer than the open sea beyond it. Toilets, a children's playground and braai and picnic facilities are close by; parking off Victoria Road fills quickly, and the pool is roughly 20 minutes from the city centre.
