La Viruta

A basement floor on Armenia in Palermo, reached by going down one level, and the usual first stop for dancers who have never been to a milonga. Classes run late by design: Wednesdays at 22:00, Fridays at 21:45 and Sundays at 22:00, with the milonga picking up straight afterwards and running on traditional and modern tango, plus salsa and rock nights. The room mixes beginners with regulars rather than separating them, which is not how the codified downtown halls work.
