Dörferblick

Heaped up in 1958 at the far southeastern edge of West Berlin, in Rudow, with the Wall running directly alongside. The name means village view, and that is what it was for: from the top, West Berliners could see over the border fortifications to the East German villages beyond. The outlook now covers the southern edge of the city.
