Cape to Cape Track
The route runs within the 19,092 ha Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park in Western Australia, with its northern end at Cape Naturaliste and its southern at Cape Leeuwin. It was officially created in 2001, though the idea had begun to take shape as early as the 1970s, and the park's head ranger has credited the Friends of the Cape to Cape Track with making its completion possible. Within the national park, camping by walkers without vehicle backup is permitted anywhere along the track.
