Café Lowietje

Around the corner from the Lindengracht and Westerstraat since 1954, playing Tante Leen, Johnny Jordaan and Willy Alberti. Market traders sit at the bar next to Jordaan locals. The 1950s decor is intact, and the room was used as a set for the detective series Baantjer. The meatballs are the dish to order.
