't Zonnehuis
J.H. Mulder built this as the community hall of Tuindorp Oostzaan in 1932, the social centre of a garden village of municipal housing north of the IJ, and it stands at the head of Zonneplein where the plan's axes meet. The Dutch inventory of Amsterdam School buildings lists it as Verenigingsgebouw Het Zonnehuis, Zonneplein 30. The hall survived the neighbourhood's post-war decline and now works as a theatre and concert venue, restored and held by Stadsherstel Amsterdam.
