Strandbad Mythenquai

Opened in 1922 on the western lakeshore, this is the one city badi with actual sand rather than decking or lawn alone. The five-metre diving tower is the draw for one crowd and the shallow, gradual lake entry is the draw for the other, with barbecue areas and a large grass field between them. Facing east across the water from the left bank, it holds sun for most of the day and looks toward the Alps.
