Flussbad Au-Höngg

The river bath on Werdinsel, the island formed between the Limmat and a side channel, tucked far enough from the road to feel enclosed. Barbecue grills, sports areas and a playground maintained by Grün Stadt Zürich sit behind the bathing platforms, and the site can be booked for private events. Swimming is in moving river water rather than a still basin.
