Bitzinger
Josef Bitzinger's stand next to the Staatsoper came fourth in the Falstaff vote and is the one that serves Klobassen, Käsekrainer and Waldviertler to opera audiences on the way out. The cold compartment holds Sekt, imported beer and a short champagne list alongside the usual canned lager. Open from eight in the morning until three the next, with no seating: everything is handed over the counter.
